My wife died a few years ago and we had been Swingers while she was physically able to until her health took a turn for the worse, we used to enjoy having sex by candle light and caressing each other in front of a glowing fire.

When my wife died part of me died too and i could never see any of that happening again. The thought of dating again just didnt interest me and i couldn't bare to think about sharing Candle light with anyone else or laying my hands on someone and Caressing them the way i did with my wife.

But they say time is a healer and my kids kept pressurising me to get back on the dating scene they didnt want their dad to grow old alone, i will admit that i was lonely and sometimes long for just some companionship but no one could replace my wife and i didn't want them to.

I started going to a local singles club forced by my son may i add, it was for people over the age of 40 who had loved and lost one way or another and had started Dating again.

That's where i met Maureen, she was totally different to my wife which was a good thing as i didn't keep comparing them like i was worried i would do, we hit it off and became good friends to begin with then i noticed my feelings started to change towards her, when we were apart i was looking forward to seeing her again and in the end i was actually missing her in between the times we spent together.

We both wanted to take things very slowly but it came to a point where both of us didn't want this anymore but neither of us had the guts to admit it. It wasn't till one night we were on the phone and she turned round before she said goodbye and said i miss you, that was my cue and i told her my feelings.

I still didn't want to do things like have sex by candle light or lie on the rug in front of the fire caressing as those were special things between my wife and i but i felt with Maureen that i had a second chance at happiness and we could find our own unique special things to do together.
