I was watching American idol the other night, although I am not American a gay friend of mine is and he is well lets just say a horny and highly strung 20 year old and very much into the gay dating scene at the moment.

He watches American Idol all the time and he thought this one guy on there was absolutely gorgeous so he told me to watch it to see whether I thought this guy was gorgeous or not.

It was now time for this supposedly gorgeous guy to appear on American Idol and the I was sitting there with a bag of sweet popcorn on my lap and a cola in my hand waiting for this fit guy to appear on tv, oh my what a disappointment.

I think my friend forgot how old I was as this guy was way way way too young for me to comment on whether he was gorgeous or not sweet maybe in fact he was definitely sweet but in a younger brother sort of way, but also not old enough for me to be remotely attracted to him, it would be like cradle snatching for me to even have thoughts about it eww.

I phoned my friend and asked him what he was playing at, he commented that yes he was young well 16 in fact but since he was only 20 it wasn't that much of an age difference, I went on to tell him that sure enough 4 years wasn't much but for me that would of been 18 years age difference and the fact that I could have kids his age made me feel sick.

My cheeky git of a friend decided to call me an old hag and told me to get with the program, well I laughed if nothing else watching the program did give me an enjoyable night and to be fair there was definitely some talent on the show but not the sort of talent that my friend was thinking of, we were not on the same wave length at all.

Well one good thing has come out of it, we now know that we will never fall out over men as our tastes are totally different.
