Today my wife and I had a brief encounter with my idol Brad Pitt. Our brief encounter took place at a gas station in Hollywood. We took pictures with him and I got him to sign a magazineI had in the car of him and Angelina Jolie. He was as polite as could be and even put up with my grovoling and proclaiming him my idol to his face. After he had left my wife pointed out how I, a man, was more excited about seeing Brad then she was. We joked about how if i could cheat on her with one person, I would have to take up gay dating and choose my idol. I had no problem with that. I never saw anything wrong with a simple man crush. Besides Brad Pitt is a celebrity, its not like its a crush on some random guy from my office. My wife joked how she would definitely choose to cheat on me with Hallie Berry. I thought it was funny how our brief encounter with a celebrity lead to a day of fun conversation about same sex dating. At least dating same sex celebs.

We both made a list of three for the fun of it. My list was: Brad Pitt, Johnny Depp, and Hugh Jackman. Her list had names like Hallie Berry, Angelina Jolie, and Rose McGowan. We both knew it was for fun and safer then choosing people of the opposite sex that we knew. Awkward! It was clear to both of us that we were not gay or lesbian or elseI highly doubt we would have been together at that moment but still it was interesting to think about.

Later that night we went home and decided that the cheating thing was fun while it lasted but there was no doubt in her or my mind that we would never cheat on one another. I mean I don't even think we could, we make each other so happy, and we knew how much we meant to one another. Our family was too important to us to even consider doing that.
