"Happy Birthday Kazzy!", the room erupted. "How does it feel to be an adult now then?" asked Kazzy's Gran "yeah - how does it feel to be 18 babe?!" hooted Kazzy's best mate Jill. Kazzy looked a bit embarrassed and shrugged,before picking up her new kitten and snuggling against his fur. When the family had gone home, Jill cornered Kazzy in her room. "So how about it then Kaz? Me and Jake are gonna take you to a real 18+ London club!". At Kazzy's less-than-enthusiastic face Jill started to explain. "It will be amazing! I will show you what it really means to be an adult, and maybe we will find you a boyfriend!". "A boyfriend?!" Kazzy looked aghast "don't be so stupid Jill!".Jill just smiled, "well Ive got Jake - its high time you found a partner too!". The next day Jill turned up at Kazzy's wearing the skimpiest dress imaginable, with her boyfriend Jake attached to her arm. Kazzy saw them both and felt a bit sick - she really liked the pair, but some of the things they got up to worried her, and this was certainly one of those things!Soon Jill had wrestled Kazzy into a dress nearly as skimpy as hers, and bundled her onto the train to London. Kazzy nervously pulled at her dress wishing it was more stretchy so she could pull it down over her knees.The material felt uncomfortably tight against her skin, and as she stared gloomly out the window, Jill happily chatted about all the boys they were going to find in London. "The london dating scene is the best in the country!" She informed thequeasy Kazzy. "Don't worry - you look terrified! We will find you a nice boy to dance with, hewill be lovely, and will make you feel like a Princess!". "I don't want to feel like a Princess" Kazzy thought unhappily - Ijust want to go home!" When they arrived at the club, they had to queue in a long line outside. Just lookingat the people in the queue made Kazzy nervous, especially when she saw one guystick his hand upthe skirt of his partneruntil she squirmed and moaned loudly. Jill saw Kazzy watching and grinned at her. "Don't worry babe! We'll find you a dance partner like that! Someone to really knock the breath outta you!". Kazzy made an excuse of needing the toilet, and stumbled away from the queue. Once she wasround the corner she sat on the pavement sobbing, and wishing she was back at home with her kitten. "I hate being an adult" she said to herself. "I'm not ready for this" she thought gloomily, staring at some chewing gum on the pavement, as she saw Jills shadow come round the corner to find her.

There was this married couple that I will call Rex and Max. They were such a cute couple and had the perfect life. Once a week, they would go for a candle light dinner. Can you imagine, close your eyes and just imagine, once a week for 52 years they were going out for a candle light dinner. I remember Rex talking about how their meal used to cost $2.50 and then went up to $12.50 and now it is almost $32.50. What a price increase in 52 years.
