"Dating websites?" Stacy asked.

"Oh, come on," Terri replied, "Every one's been on today's dating websites. It's the new thing. It makes your search easier so that you don't have to waste your time figuring it all out guy by guy."

Terri handed Stacy a card with a few addresses for dating websites on it.

"Here," Terri said, "Check these out and you'll see how much easier it is to find the perfect guy."

"Yeah, in a world where anyone can claim to be anyone else and not themselves," Stacy retorted, "dating websites just aren't my thing."

"You won't know until you try it," Terri answered back, "Look, give one of them a shot. It won't be so bad."

Stacy paused and looked down at the card. She sighed slightly and picked it up as she got up to leave the table.

"Alright," she said, "I'll do it."

Terri's face lit up with a radiant smile.

"I knew you'd come around," Terri said happily. The girls hugged and then went off in their separate directions. Stacy began talking quietly to herself.

"I can't believe I'm actually agreeing to this," she thought out loud, "Oh well. It'll be better than the blind date that Jen set me up with. A good feel is important if I'm going to so much as touch the guy... Let alone sleep with him."

Later that night after Stacy got back to her apartment she looked at the card with the URLs of a few different websites on them.

"Am I really supposed to find a husband on here?" she asked.

Stacy sat down in front of her computer, remembering she had left it on before she went out. She opened her web browser and looked at the card, filing through the different options for sites, typing in a few different addresses in a number of different tabs. She settled on one with more of an adult theme than the rest, deciding she wanted something a little more "intimate" than what the rest offered. She began her search and came across a small handful of different profiles.

"Okay... So I send messages to these guys now?" she asked herself out loud.

Stacy quickly realized she had to complete a profile and upload a photo. With minimal frustration and a few minutes of her time, she managed to complete her profile and let the world know exactly what she was looking for. She then decided to upload a more revealing picture than most other sites would allow; a picture of herself in a very revealing bra and a small G-string.

"And now we wait," Stacy told herself with a sly smile and devilish tone of voice, beginning to enjoy the idea of online dating as she headed off to bed. She almost couldn't sleep due to the excitement of seeing who would reply to her and who might come her way in the near future. She eventually drifted off into a deep sleep and dreamt easy.
