I have never been a very big fan of swinging. I can't really see how an honest couple that are completely in love and/or married can swing without it counting as cheating. I do not understand why if you love your husband, you would want to start swinging to get with another man! It seems mad to me that some people are perfectly happy for their partner to swing, and don't feel unloved or unwanted at all. Surely when you marry somebody then you promise to love them and only them for ever until death do you part. Surely than means that the person you are marrying is your true love and that you would never want to be with anyone else in the world ever! Madness. If my husband ever suggested swinging I don't know what I would do! I would be devastated! Swingers are disgusting. I simply do not get them. My friend however thinks that swinging is a brilliant idea! She says it releases something exciting inside of you and makes your relationship with your husband or wife or partner or whatever even better than it was before swinging! Well the relationship can't be very good in the first place if you resort to swinging, so I'm hardly surprised at that! Maybe I'm just being old fashioned, I don't know, but I am going to stick to this opinion, and it will take something very very big and convincing to make me support it! My friend that does support swinging has tried it very often. Her boyfriend has as well, and neither of them mind that the other one is doing it. Apparently she says that it actually excites them to think of their partners with another person! I can not see how that is exciting. Surely that is every one's worst nightmare! Thinking aboutmy true love life partner with someone else is second only to them dying in my list of worst things to ever think about. I would lay awake all night crying for months! I have never spoken to my partner about swinging, and I am certain he would never bring the subject up with me. My husband was present as my friend was telling me all about how much her and her boyfriend enjoy swinging, and my husband looked just as disgusted and uncomfortable and distraught as I did when my friend suggested we think about trying it. No. swinging is not for me.
