I had never before been a fan of the great big world of online dating but after seeing so many commercials for some of the larger dating sites I decided it would not hurt to give at least one or two sites a chance. I have been single for over a year, my last relationship broke up when my ex boyfriend wastransferredto another city and we both decided that a long distancerelationshipwould be too hard to maintain. I guess you can say that I really didn't love him, I knew I liked him and enjoyed spending time with him but I would be lying if I said either of us felt a great passion towards each other. I love adore going out to the new dance clubs and bars but being single I end up stuck at home instead of being able to do all of those fun things.

That is why I finally decided to take the plunge into online dating, and hoping that it can be as big a success for me as it is for some of their members. I don't even want to find the big love of my life, at least not yet. First I would love to meet someone that is very much like me and that would enjoy sharing some of my life with me. We can go out and do all of the fun city things and then we can also stay home and do all of the peaceful couple things too. It would be great to have someone to go and see all of the new movies with and not have to wait till they come out on DVD. Then maybe one day it can turn into something more and maybe we can think about the future.

So for now all I need is a fun and sweet guy that enjoys life, and then later in the future maybe marriage. The online dating site I chose has a very good marriage rate and it makes me feel positive that the day I decide to take that plunge I will be working with an online dating site that has had such tremendous success. Now that I am a member of this site I actually feel better and know that I have a lot of things to look forward to, no more sitting at home and watching TV for me.
