Ruperto, residing in Singapore, builds free dating sites for business clients since 1995. It started when a former classmate, Dan, contacted him to ask about how he was doing during a get together. Here’s part of they’re phone conversation October 2009.

Dan: “It’s been 26 years since we left college. I got into working lately in Saudi Arabia for the MOD. They needed someone to keep those phone systems running.”

Ruperto: “That sounds like a very interesting job, Dan. Personally, I have been on contract work in various places my self. Cambodia seems to be the most interesting of them. By the way, did you mention about starting an information service on the Internet?”

Dan: “Yes, I wanted to try building a business online. A first I was thinking of an online store. Then I decided, it might be an information service of some sort.”

Ruperto: “How about a dating site? Free dating sites are popular because there are many people who get bored for the rest of the day after work. They will want to relax and check out these free dating sites.”

Dan: “Well considering the market that we would be interested in I do agree that free dating sites may have a big potential.”

Ruperto and Dan ended their phone conversation with a scheduled dinner bringing along their families in a hotel in Makati business district in Philippines.

Ruperto returned home that night and kissed his wife Anne cooking some chicken curry for dinner. They look like a very happy couple. Ruperto would tickle Anne as they embrace on the couch.

Anne said laughingly: “Not there, you know it’s my tickle point.” (Pointing at her knee)

Ruperto told Anne about the dinner in two weeks. Anne found it exciting to visit Manila after staying in Singapore for a whole year.

It was late evening on a Saturday and their only child, Mary, was in Anne’s sister’s house for the weekend. It seems Mary is glad to take short stays at her Aunt’s once in a while.

Ruperto: “It’s a quiet night, dear. That chicken curry was good. It was not too spicy, but spicy enough to get me excited. I think we should take a shower together. It’s not always this peaceful and you’re looking super gorgeous tonight. I hope you don’t sleep on me tonight, dear.”

With a smile on her face and winking, Anne said: “It’s you who should not fall asleep to early.”
